 Doug Clinkscales is a Denver born native who grew up on the east side of Denver. Attending Bromwell Elementary and Cole Middle School. After High School Clinkscales went to Colorado State University where he gained his passion for working with kids as a coach and official for Loveland Parks and rec. In 2007, Clinkscales was hired as a founding teacher of the relaunch of Manual High School. During his tenure at Manual High School Clinkscales has served in several capacities. Five years as the head football coach and 3 years as the head Track coach. As a teacher, he taught the Graduating class of 2011 in three of their 4 years in the subjects of Geography, U.S. History, Sociology, Psychology In 2010 Clinkscales was selected as the Manual High School Teacher of the year. Clinkscales became the school Assistant Principal and athletic director in the 2012-2013 school year. He has helped capture Manual’s rich history and tradition by establishing the Manual High School Athletic Hall of Fame, the Wall of Champions, . As an administrator Clinkscalcales prides himself in the work he has done leading the student support team, helping student emotional and academic success. I’m very excited for my end year as principal. Serving this historic great community is something I take deep pride in.
