I am a Nebraska native. I began teaching 18 years ago in Brooklyn, NY and have since taught Multilingual Learners of all ages; K-12! I am passionate about the value of being mutli-lingual. Learning Spanish as a second language has given me countless life opportunities. My goal is to give students the language support they need to reach their greatest potential in school and life, and to welcome and support the families of our MLL students into the community. Away from school I love to hike, travel, garden, do yoga and support my two daughters in their school life and activities.
