Hi Thunder community! I am the school counselor here at Manual and this is my fourth year at the school. I am so proud to be part of this community because of our commitment to supporting students and families with their growth in middle school, this is truly a special age! After graduating from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, I taught elementary English in Rwanda with the Peace Corps and then got my master’s degree in Prevention Science along with my school counseling licensure from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Around school you may see me checking in with students about productive coping skills, teaching an ICAP lesson, or changing a schedule. Outside of school you may see me walking my dog, playing tennis, or trying to find someone to take all of the baked goods that I love making!
